Lighting Request at White Rock Pier
Thank you for your interest in lighting the White Rock Pier on behalf of your organization.

Before applying, please review the White Rock Pier lighting policy to ensure that your event meets the criteria outlined in the policy and does not fall on any of the annual celebrations to be supported during the 2023–2026 term.

The City will make every effort to accommodate lighting requests where possible. However, approval is subject to meeting the policy criteria and date availability. The assignment of lighting dates is at the discretion of City staff, who will consider all requests and available dates in an effort to accommodate as many eligible events and organizations as possible. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval or a specific date.

Requesting one day of lighting is preferred in order to help accommodate more events.

Please note: Due to Transport Canada requirements under the Canadian Navigable Waters Act, the White Rock Pier cannot display red or green lights at any time. These colours are reserved for navigation markers.
