Candidate information for electors

The information you include on this form will be posted to the City’s website as soon as possible after the deadline for declaration of candidates (August 22, 2025). Once information has been posted to the website, no updates or changes will be made to the photo or statement. Candidates will be advised via e-mail when the profiles are up on the website.

IMAGE SUGGESTIONS:

• Your photo should be a clear image of ONLY you 
• You should be facing the camera
• Do not scan your driver's license; the scanned image will not be of high enough quality

FORMAT & SIZE:

• You can upload a JPG, JPEG, or PNG image file
• The maximum file size is 5MB
• The photo must be at least 640 x 480 pixels

PHOTO RELEASE:

By submitting a photograph with this application, you are granting permission to the City of White Rock to publish the photograph for election purposes.  The image will become the sole property of the City of White Rock. You must either be the sole owner of all copyrights in the photograph or have the full authority of the copyright owner(s) to grant to the City of White Rock the rights required for the uses set out in this release. 

I, the undersigned, have read the Instructions for Completion of the Candidate Profile. I understand that the Chief Election Officer may refuse to accept this Candidate Profile for publication if, in the sole opinion of the Chief Election Officer, it does not reasonably comply with the criteria in the Instructions or is frivolous or otherwise unsuitable for publication.
