As part of this year's Culture Crawl, The City of White Rock is hosting a space for artisan's and artist's at Kent Street Activity Centre ll (1475 Kent Street ), October 4 from 10am to 4pm.
Filling out this application does not mean you have been approved. You will be contacted if you are approved within 5-10 business days of the application closing.
Criteria
- The artisan/artist must be a White Rock or South Surrey Resident.
- All work must be original and handcrafted/created by the artisan/artist.
- Artisan/artist must agree to be on site for both days of the Culture Crawl - 10am to 4pm.
- At this time we are not accepting any applicants who are serving or selling food.
- If you are already part of the community organized Kaliedscope Market at the White Rock Community centre, we will not be able to consider your application for the Kent Street Activity Centre Market.
We seek a balance of artists and artisan's and therefore if there is an overwhelming number of applicants for one area (i.e. jewelrey or pottery) we may choose to limit the number.
Guidelines
- The artisan/artist will be provide one 6 foot table and one chair. All display materials must be contained to the table and behind the table, and within two feet on either side of the table.
- WIFI is available through "WhiteRockCityGuest" but may be slow if there is heavy usage in the building. If you require stable internet you can tether to your own data plan from your phone and create a "hot spot."
- Artisan/artist retains all revenue from sales.
- Artisan/artist may not play music at thier table.
- The City will assign table spots and request for specific spots may not be requested.
- Kent Street Activity Centre is limited parking. Artist/artisan is responsible for finding parking.
- Artisan/artist may set up from 8:00am to 10am on the Sunday and must be cleaned up by 6:00pm on the Sunday.
- There is no table/artist fee
